Galway Bay fm newsroom - A workshop on the psychological impact of social media will take place in the city on Monday week.
The event will focus on social media in the workplace, and how it might harm workers.
Emerging research has found that the use of social media can lead in some cases to addiction, anxiety and depression, and privacy violation.
The workshop will take place at NUI Galway's Cairnes School of Business at 9.30am on Monday week, and pre-registration is required.
