Galway Bay fm newsroom - An annual peace event commemorating the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during the Second World War will take place in the city tomorrow.

The event is organised by the Galway Alliance Against War and the theme of this year's event is 'No to an EU Army'.
It'll include music, song and dance, as well as speakers including former Green MEP Patricia McKenna and members of the US Veterans for Peace group.

The peace event will get underway at Eyre Square tomorrow afternoon at 2.
