Galway Bay fm newsroom - A public meeting on the future of the Westwood Hotel in Newcastle will take place in the city tomorrow.
The well-known hotel is set to be transformed into high-end student accommodation for around 400 students.
It has already been sold, but will continue to operate as a hotel until early next year.
All weddings, bookings and functions are guaranteed until January.

The meeting on its future will take place at the Westwood Hotel tomorrow evening at 8.
Dave O' Connell of the Tudor Lawn Residents Association says the meeting is about bringing a number of different groups together to discuss a way forward.
