Galway Bay fm newsroom - Ten presidential hopefuls have made their presentation to Galway city councillors in their bid for the Aras.
The pitches were made at a marathon meeting of the city council yesterday.
Potential candidates require at least four nominations from local authorities in order to enter the race.
Any nominations from the city councillors will be considered at their monthly meeting on Monday.

Monday is also the day the presidential hopefuls will make their presentations to Galway's county councillors.
