Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway fire brigade attended the scene of a chimney fire in the Newcastle area last night.
The chimney caught fire at a house at Corrib Park around 9p.m.
One unit of the city brigade attended the scene and brought the chimney fire under control within an hour.
