Galway Bay fm newsroom - City councillors are to receive an update on the local authority's planned submission to the National Planning Framework at their March meeting tomorrow.
A number of stakeholder groups took part in a workshop earlier this week in a bid to gather feedback.
The NPF sets out to map out the State’s population growth over the next 25 years.
It is intended to be a strong basis for policies, effective planning, investment and decision making, with public submissions open until March 16th.
A draft submission will now be composed by officials following the workshop which was attended by groups including Galway Chamber of Commerce, the HSE and Galway City Partnership.
