City council refuses permission for new city centre hotel

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans for a new hotel just off Eyre Square have been turned down.

Galway City Council has refused planning permission for a new 6-level hotel at Victoria Place.

The development at Victoria Place would have required the demolition of an existing snooker hall.
