Galway Bay fm newsroom - An international conference to explore the human rights responsibilities of Irish businesses will take place in the city on Friday.
The event will examine the opportunities, challenges and barriers to pursuing cases in Irish courts against companies implicated in human rights abuses.
Speakers will include experts, legal practitioners, academics and advocates who will share their experiences in other jurisdictions including the US and the UK.
The conference will take place at the ILAS building at NUI Galway on Friday from 9am.
