Galway Bay fm newsroom - Cill Chiaráin will host a festival tomorrow which aims to promote sea welfare and jobs in the marine sector.
The Lá Mára festival will get underway from 10.30am until 3pm at the Páirc na Mára astro-turf pitch near Cill Chiaráin village.
The event will feature information stalls, a live fish tank as well as stands from local businesses.
Speakers on the day will include Chief Executive of Údarás na Gaeltachta Micheál Ó Éanaigh, Dr. Oliver Tully from native Oyster Restoration and Patrick Connolly from GRETB.
Ruairí Ó Néill from Údarás Na Gaeltachta says its a chance for young people to discover more about the marine sector.
