Children unable to get to school in Headford due to lack of school transport

Galway Bay fm newsroom – More than 40 children have been unable to get to school in Headford this week due to a lack of school transport.

Despite securing bus tickets, many parents in the area have since received an email from Bus Éireann stating they do not have a service for the area

Councillor Andrew Reddington is looking to organise a private operator and is asking parents to get in touch with him if they are struggling.

Meanwhile, Speaking to Galway Talks, Chair of Presentation College Headford, Councillor Mary Hoade, says it’s very stressful for families:
