Changes to Galway rail services over Easter weekend due to track works

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway rail passengers are advised of a number of service alterations over Easter weekend.

It's due to the construction of an underpass on the Athlone to Mullingar Greenway and track works.

From today Good Friday to Easter Monday, there will be bus transfers between Tullamore and Ballinasloe for Galway services and bus transfers between Tullamore and Roscommon for Westport services.

Jane Cregan from Irish Rail is advising people to check the website before travelling.
