Galway Bay fm newsroom - Cases of Covid-19 at University Hospital Galway are continuing to climb.
There are 37 people with the virus being treated at UHG today, which is five more than yesterday
Of those, 9 are in the ICU - that's a drop of one patient in the past 24 hours.
However, overall, the figures at UHG are still just a fraction of those recorded this time last month.
Meanwhile, Covid-19 cases at Portiuncula Hospital remain unchanged, with 3 people receiving treatment, one of whom is in ICU.
Nationally, 754 are being treated in hospitals today, a 62 percent decrease from the peak last month.
