Galway Bay fm newsroom - A case taken by a former worker at Galway Mail Sorting office claiming that An Post failed to deal with bullying allegations has been struck out.
56 year old married mother, Claire Stephens took a High Court case claiming the bullying persisted for years culminating in a pornographic postcard being left at her workspace.
An Post had denied that it failed to deal with the allegations properly.
The company said the postcard incident was dealt with through its disciplinary process.
Yesterday when the case was due to resume at the High Court, Claire Stephens' barrister told the judge that her client asked that the case be struck out.
According to today's Irish Times, Judge Charles Meenan granted the request.
