Car seized after untaxed and uninsured driver in Kilchreest attempts to avoid checkpoint

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardaí have seized a car in Kilchreest after finding the driver of it had no insurance, tax or NCT.

The motorist attempted to avoid the Garda checkpoint.

After observing the car turn around and away from the checkpoint, Portumna Gardaí followed and stopped it

Gardaí seized the vehicle under Section 41 of the Road Traffic Act.
