Canadian Mohawk scholar to attend Connemara language course in new partnership

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A unique scholarship has been announced between Ireland and Canada, which will see a Mohawk scholar attend an Irish language course in Connemara each summer.

Minister of State for the Irish Language, Gaeltacht and the Islands, Galway T.D Seán Kyne and Mohawk Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton have announced support for the scholarship.
