Galway Bay fm newsroom - A city councillor is calling on local election candidates to sign up to a voluntary code of conduct to curb the use of election posters in the upcoming elections.
Councillor Pearce Flannery's call comes after the matter was raised at a meeting at County Hall where council officials advised councillors that the only way an election poster ban could be introduced, is through a voluntary code system.
