Call for upgrade of facilities at beach in Renmore

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A city councillor is calling for an upgrade of the facilities at Ballyloughane beach in Renmore.

Fianna Fail Councillor Alan Cheevers says the seating at the beach is a health and safety hazard and needs to be addressed.

He also wants the public toilets to be improved and the car parking to be reopened.

Councillor Cheevers is urging the city council to upgrade the facilities so residents and tourists can enjoy the amenity.
