Call for Transport minister to address slow progress of Galway's Greenways

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway senator has called on Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan to attend the Seanad to answer questions on the slow progress in developing Galway's greenways.

Fine Gael Senator Sean Kyne says projects such as the Connemara greenway, the Dublin to Galway Greenway and the Galway City, Salthill and Barna greenway have all suffered frustrating delays.

The Galway Senator is seeking the publication of a new Code of Best Practice for developing greenways.

Speaking in the Seanad, Senator Kyne says the current approach of developing greenways is simply not working.
