Call for roadworks at Roscam to be paused during peak hours due to “traffic gridlock”
Galway Bay fm newsroom – There’s a call for ongoing roadworks at Roscam to be paused until after the peak morning rush hour has passed.
Councillor Alan Cheevers says the works, to install active travel measures, are causing total traffic gridlock.
He is calling on Galway City Council’s transport section to suspend the works until after 9am each morning.
He says something has to be done to alleviate the delays before an accident occurs:
