Call for pedestrian crossing at new Monivea national school

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Parents have called for the installation of a pedestrian crossing outside the new national school in Monivea.

Minister for Rural affairs and Galway East TD Sean Canney and local councillor Gabe Cronnelly have made a submission to the county council to cost and install the crossing.

The council has also undertaken to prepare a plan for other safety works in the village.
