Galway Bay fm newsroom - A city councillor says €112 thousand collected in vacant site levies on the former Dawn Dairies site in Renmore should be ring-fenced for projects in the local community.

The call comes from Councillor Alan Cheevers, who also recently argued the same should be done with €400 thousand in levies collected from the former Corrib Great Southern site.
He feels there's been chronic underinvestment in amenities on the east side of the city and this combined €500 thousand could help see that situation corrected.
