Boston Mayor speaks on importance of Connemara heritage at opening of new Emigrant Commemorative Centre

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Mayor of Boston, Marty Walsh, said in Carna yesterday evening that the opening of the Emigrants Commemorative Centre meant something special to himself.

The Mayor's parents, John Walsh and Mary O' Malley both emigrated from Carna and Ros Muc.
