Galway Bay fm newsroom - A book of condolence for Martin McGuinness will be opened at City Hall this morning (24/3).
The former Deputy First Minister of the Stormont Assembly and Sinn Fein leader in Northern Ireland died on Tuesday following a short illness
The book will be available to the public at City Hall from 11am.
Sinn Féin councillors from the city and county will be part of a Guard of Honour at Mr. McGuinness' funeral today.
Former US President Bill Clinton is set to join mourners at the funeral in Derry.
President Michael D Higgins and former president, Mary McAleese, will also attend requiem mass along with the Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Northern Ireland Secretary James Brokenshire will be there on behalf of the British government and after much speculation, it's understood DUP leader Arlene Foster will attend the funeral.
