Galway Bay fm newsroom - Beef farmers who are protesting outside Liffey Meats in Ballinasloe have vowed their action will continue 'indefinitely'.
A 24/7 peaceful demonstration has been underway at the plant since Monday morning as part of a nationwide campaign against falling beef prices.
Farmers are also concerned over the Mercosur trade deal with South America, as well as the uncertainty surrounding Brexit.
Many have pledged to keep demonstrations going until Meat Industry Ireland agrees to meet with producers and retailers to agree new rates.
