Bathing warning notices removed from two city beaches

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Bathing warning notices have been removed from Grattan and Ballyloughane beaches.

The notices were issued last Friday, advising of the possible increase in the levels of bacteria due to forecasted rainfall and the possible activation of storm overflow.

The city council says samples taken from both amenities now meet the requirements for excellent water quality.

The warning notices have since been withdrawn.
