Galway Bay fm newsroom - Swimming and bathing has been restricted in Spiddal as a result of bacteria.
The county council says that due to high levels of bacteria detected in a water sample taken at Céibh an Spideál beach on Tuesday, a temporary ban on bathing has been put in place.
