From Galway Bay FM newsroom- Ballybane in Galway is one of the most littered towns in the country.

This is according to the Irish Business against litter survey released today.
In Ballybane there was two litter black spots- Ballybane Industrial Estate and Ballybane village.

The Recycle Facility at Joyce's Supermarket also received reports of high levels of litter, as did a miscellaneous site on the R339 Monivea Road.
But it wasn't all bad news for Galway as Galway city ranked 17th out of 40 towns and cities in Ireland, with 17 out of 25 sites surveyed earning the top litter grade.
There was also a strong performance by Ballinasloe who ranked 24th with just one seriously littered site.
