Galway Bay fm newsroom - Irish Water is extending water restrictions currently in place on Inis Mór and Inis Oírr.
The extended restrictions will begin tomorrow evening, as water levels on the islands remain critical.
Water will be restricted on the two islands from 9pm to 8am daily.
Irish Water is urging residents, businesses and visitors to the Aran Islands to conserve water in every way possible while the dry spell continues.
Night time restrictions on Inis Mór and Inis Oírr will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
The water conservation notice issued for Inis Meáin also remains in place.
