Appeal for witnesses as man injured in Milltown collision transferred to Beaumount Hospital

From Galway Bay FM newsroom- Gardai in Tuam have issued an appeal for witnesses concerning last evening's serious road collision in Milltown.

A man is in a serious condition in hospital in Dublin after the collision involving a bike and a truck at Russellstown at around 5.30pm yesterday.

The cyclist, a man in his late teens, was taken to University Hospital Galway and has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
