Annual Delegate Conference of the Association of Garda Sergeants being held in Galway today

From Galway Bay fm newsroom- The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors Annual Delegate Conference is being held in Galway City today.

The Garda Roster is top of today’s agenda.

Members have accused Garda Commissioner Drew Harris of trying to impose a roster without agreement, and have concerns around health and welfare.

The Commissioner, and Justice Minister Simon Harris, will address the conference in the Salthill Hotel which is running from today until the Wednesday.

Antoinette Cunningham – the AGSI’s General Secretary – says the association and Commissioner Harris want to take two very different routes when it comes to the roster:
