An Bord Pleanala clears way for new trails and carpark at Connemara National Park

Galway Bay FM newsroom - An Bord Pleanala has cleared the way for new walking trails and a car park at Connemara National Park in Letterfrack.

The project will involve the creation of new walking trails totalling 8km, as well as a 144-space car park and toilet block.

The plans were originally approved by Galway County Council in early 2021 - but an appeal was lodged with An Bord Pleanala.

It's now issued a final decision, granting permission with revised conditions.
