Ambitious plans for the future development of sports and community facilities in Southpark are moving forward.
At City Hall this week, it was confirmed that a consultant's now been appointed to prepare a masterplan.
Fine Gael Councillor Eddie Hoare says everyone's in agreement that it's taken too long to get the long-awaited blueprint to this point.
But he's hopeful real momentum will now start to build as the consultants start their work.
