Galway Bay fm newsroom - Almost €1m in funding has been allocated towards the redevelopment of Gort town centre.

The funding has been made under the latest round of the Government's Rural Regeneration and Development Fund.
Galway East TD Ciaran Cannon says this funding will allow for the enhancement of Canon Quin Park and the adjacent Market Square, as well as town centre streets.
