Almost €100,000 Clár Funding Announced For Community Groups in East Galway

Almost €100,000 has been announced for East Galway organisations to support disability and cancer care transport services.

€96,930 has been allocated to purchase a vehicle for East Galway and Midlands Cancer Support and the purchase of a bus with adaptions for Ability West in Mountbellew.

The vehicles will be used to assist people who are wheelchair-bound or have other mobility issues.

The funds are part of a national investment of €747,000 under the CLÁR programme to fund the purchase of 14 vehicles for community based organisations providing vital services in rural areas.
