78 lifeboat launches in Galway last year

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway RNLI crews launched 78 times in 2018, bringing 43 people to safety.

Lifeboat crews from the city, Clifden and the Aran Islands were involved in the rescues.

Galway RNLI stations are hoping to raise more than three quarters of a million euro in funding for crucial equipment as part of their Mayday campaign.
