47 patients waiting on trolleys at UHG

Galway Bay fm newsroom - There are 47 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Galway today according to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

UHG has the third highest number of people on trolleys in the country.

The worst hit hospital is University Hospital Limerick with 66 people waiting on trolleys, while Cork University Hospital has 48 on trolleys.

552 people are waiting for beds in hospitals across the country this morning.
