Galway Bay fm newsroom - A new report has revealed that over 2 thousand new .ie Internet domains were registered in Galway in 2019.
The latest edition of the .ie Domain Profile Report shows Galway has registered the most addresses in Connacht in the last 12 months.
Connacht registered over 4 thousand new .ie domains in 2019, bringing the province's total to 21 thousand seven hundred.
Meanwhile, registrations for the Irish Internet domain have increased by 7.7 percent year-on-year in the region.
Nationwide, .ie was adopted by over 50 thousand new websites in the last 12 months - while 61 percent of these were registered by companies or the self employed.
