Galway Bay fm newsroom - There are still about 200 homes in the county without electricity this lunchtime, following Storm Doris overnight.
The wild weather - which brought winds of up to 140 km per hour - has caused widespread damage across parts of the west, northwest and east of the country.
Two faults in the Lawrencetown area are affecting about 120 customers with power expected to return between 2.30 and 4 o' clock this afternoon.
There is a new fault in the Athenry area affecting 13 customers and crews hope to restore power there by 7p.m.
In Glenamaddy, 46 customers are still affected by a power outage and it's hoped the supply will be restored by 7p.m.
Storm Doris is now moving towards England which is expected to bring a reduction in the wild weather.
