1,940 new Covid 19 cases reported

From the Galway Bay FM Newsroom:

There are 1,940 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland today - 62 less than yesterday.

It was announced today over 92 percent of adults are now fully vaccinated against the virus.

As of 8am this morning there were 352 patients in hospital with Covid - 74 of which were in ICU.
