Local TD John Connolly says US President Donald Trump should "inform himself better on people" in response to Conor McGregors appearance at the White House.
The former UFC champion, who was found liable for rape in a civil trial last year, met with Donald Trump and Elon Musk to mark St. Patrick's day.
He took the opportunity to criticise the government on immigration - and later criticised the Taoiseach's after he responded saying McGregor does not speak for Ireland.
A video of Conor McGregor speaking to reporters in the White House yesterday, has been viewed over sixty million times.
President Trump is a supporter of UFC and told Michael Martin last week that Conor McGregor is "great" and has "the best tattoos I've ever seen".
