16 community centres across Galway city and county are to share an allocation of 1.1 million euro
It's part of a 26 million euro national investment fund which aims to refurbish and refresh community centres.
The works will inbclude minor and major works as well as environmental upgrades
Top of the funding list is 100 thousand euro each for Belclare Community Centre and Roundstone Community Centre, 99 thousand euro for Bohermore Community Hall, 95 thousand euro for Beagh Community Centre and 94 thousand 500 euro for Labane Community Hall
