15 new local jobs as Aldi opens Mountbellew store

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Aldi has today opened a brand new store in Mountbellew, with the creation of 15 local jobs.

It's the supermarket chain's 11th location in Galway, and brings the total employed across the county to 260.

The new store is located at College Road and includes 120 car parking spaces, along with four electric vehicle charging points and bike spaces.

Aldi says it's the latest step in its West of Ireland expansion programme, which will see €63m invested and 140 new jobs created over the next two years.
