Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans have been submitted for a major housing development in Barna.
Burkeway Homes Ltd is hoping to build 113 homes at Truskey East.
As the development involved more than 100 houses, it is deemed to be a strategic housing project, and the plans have been submitted directly to An Bord Pleanala.
The higher planning authority is due to make a decision next month.
