10 per cent of large-scale housing applications based in Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom- 10 per cent of fast-track large housing and student accommodation schemes planned in the frist quarter of this year are in Galway.

29 applications have been received by An Bord Pleanála from across the country between January and the 1st of April, compared to 16 for the same period last year.

According to today's Irish Times, Dublin applications took the largest percentage, followed by Kildare, Cork and Galway.
