Galway Bay fm newsroom - The County Council says funding of ten and half million euro would be needed to rehabilitate the county road network following the winter storm season.
A series of storms in recent months have caused considerable damage to local roads and regional roads in particular, especially in coastal parts.
The local authority says funding of 10.5 million euro would be the estimated minimum required to bring these damaged routes back up to an acceptable standard.
