Shane Walsh and Gavin Lee named Footballer and Hurler of the week

This morning there was another boost for Galway GAA, as Shane Walsh and Gavin Lee were named Footballer and Hurler of the Week, respectively. On Sunday, Shane Walsh was outstanding in MacHale Park as he kicked 9 points for the Galway, including 4 two-pointers, and picked up the Man of The Match award in his side's 10-point victory over Mayo. Meanwhile, Gavin Lee scored 3 points from centre-back for the Galway hurlers in their 2-19 to 1-19 win over Kilkenny and collected the Man of The Match award in Michael Donoghue's first win in his second campaign as Galway Manager.
