Tynagh-Abbey Duniry came agonisingly close to winning the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Title yesterday in Croke Park as they lost 2-15 to 0-18 to Watergrasshill from Cork after extra time. In a game that saw Shane Maloney score ten points for the Galway and Connacht champions, the match-winning goal came at the end of extra time from Sean Desmond to break Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry's hearts.
