The Galway under 20 hurlers start their Lainster Championship campaign this Saturday afternoon with an opening round fixture away to Laois in O'Moore Park in Portlaoise at 3.45 pm. Despite drawing with eventual All-Ireland champions Offaly in their opening group game in Leinster last year, Galway were well beaten by Dublin in the 2024 provincial semi-final. This year, Galway play Offaly in their second group game in the mini group of 3 teams, with Kilkenny, Dublin and Wexford making up Group 2.
