Galway Three-In-A-Row Legend Cyril Dunne Has Died Aged 83

Cyril Dunne, a crucial member of Galway's 3-in-a-row All Ireland winning squad, has passed away at the age of 83.

The Ballinasloe clubman was the free-taker supreme at wing forward for the all-conquering Galway team, scoring a combined 16 points in the three All-Ireland Finals from 1964 to 1966. His father, John 'Tull' Dunne, was the trainer of that great Galway team.

1964 - Connacht Final: 0-8 v Mayo; All-Ireland Semi-Final: 0-3 v Meath; All-Ireland Final: 0-9 v Kerry

1965 - Connacht final: 0-5 v Sligo; All-Ireland Semi-Final: 0-6 v Down; All-Ireland Final: 0-4 v Kerry

1966 - Connacht Semi-Final: 0-1 v Roscommon; Connacht Final: 0-7 v Mayo; All-Ireland Semi-Final: 1-7 v Cork; All-Ireland Final 0-3 v Meath.
