Galway footballers and hurlers start their National League campaigns next weekend with home fixtures against Armagh and Tipperary respectively. Saturday's football opener against All-Ireland champions Armagh at 5.15 pm will also see the switching on of the new floodlights in Pearse Stadium for the first time, with the hurlers hosting Tipperary at the same venue on Sunday at 3.45 pm.
